In Yan Lianke’s rural narrative, city and countryside respectively represents the origin of moral discourse and “the other” of local culture which loads on the spatial structure through two different kinds of female image，this topic reflected by way of four series stories though intellectuals born in rural, peasant soldiers, rural migrant workers and educated youth. Based on the transformation of agricultural society to industrial and commercial society and unbalanced development between urban and rural, narrator often attributes social issues and political issues to moral dimension, then formed a struggle of discourse originates in rural culture and urban culture which embodied in narrator’s cultural psychology rooted in ethical concept of agricultural civilizations.
