As an important factor in promoting the acquisition of individual socioeconomic status and intergenerational mobility, education has received extensive attention from the academic community. Functionalism believes that education is an important factor in improving individual socio-economic status and realizing intergenerational mobility, while conflict doctrine believes that education is a tool for the reproduction of social status of the dominant class. The internal logic of intergenerational mobility in education shows that ascribed factors, self-inducing factors and social factors not only lay the foundation for individual intergenerational mobility, but also provide a possible path for social group mobility. By exerting the educative function, choice function and social function of education, it provides opportunities for all members of society to move upward and realize their own values, and promote the formation of a beautiful social environment for group mobility.
