General Secretary Xi Jinping has deeply grasped the objective laws of ideological work in governing and administering the country and has published a series of important statements. These important statements have systematically coordinated ideology with economic, political, and cultural factors, and examined the complex situation, severe challenges, and target tasks of ideological work from the perspective of the essence of ideology. They creatively answered a series of important questions such as why ideological work must be firmly grasped and how to firmly grasp ideological work in the new era. These important statements have made original contributions to Marxist ideology theory, mainly manifested in: enhancing the scientific nature of ideological work in the mutual interaction between social existence and social consciousness; enhancing the identity of ideological work in the combination of cultural confidence and opposition to hegemony; and enhancing the systematic nature of ideological work in the coordination between the online space and the real society.
