The great practice of Chinese-style modernization is the history of the struggle of the party to unite and lead the people to explore, form and develop the people’s democracy in the whole process, which contains the concept of Chinese-style modern democracy. This democratic view not only embodies the general law of the development of democratic politics in the world, but also is based on China’s national conditions and has Chinese characteristics. It advocates that people’s democracy is the whole process of people’s democracy in the whole chain, all-round and full coverage. It is the most extensive, real and useful socialist democracy. The ultimate goal is to ensure that the people are the masters of the country. The Chinese-style modern democratic view adheres to and develops Marxist democratic thought, breaks the myth of “modernization = westernization” from the dimension of democratic politics, and provides a Chinese solution for human beings to explore better democratic systems.
