The digital transformation of education is an important component of the strategy of building a strong education country. As the backbone of promoting the digital transformation of education, teacher education’s digital transformation will directly affect the process of digital transformation of the entire education system and the improvement of education and teaching quality. Currently, the digital transformation of teacher education is moving towards “digitalization”. It can be said that the “digitalization” transformation of teacher education is the result of the updating and iteration of digital technology, the only way to achieve high-quality development of teacher education, and the practical demand of educational digitalization strategy. However, there are still many practical challenges in the process of digital transformation of teacher education, such as the lack of digital resources for teacher education, uneven digital literacy of teachers, low-quality integration of teacher education curriculum and digital technology, and lack of teacher humanity, which hinder the deep integration of digital technology and teacher education and make it difficult for teachers to act as the terminal executors of digital transformation to promote the long-term development of digital transformation of teacher education. This article aims to solve the difficulties in the digital transformation of teacher education, optimize the digital process of teacher education, and ultimately achieves high-quality development of teacher education by constructing an ecological service system for teachers’ digital literacy, creating digital teacher education courses, exploring new patterns of digital teacher education, and building long-term mechanisms for human-machine collaboration.
