The Ministry of Education of the National Government established the Agricultural Education Committee in 1938 as the highest administrative body for the development of agricultural education, and was also an important department of the National Government to plan and guide agricultural education during this period. In order to meet the needs of the wartime system and the long-term war of resistance, the Agricultural Education Committee made an overall planning and deployment for agricultural education in the national control areas. Although the work carried out by the Agricultural Education Committee has a clear official position, with practicability, utilitarian and non-thoroughness, it has a positive impact on promoting China’ agricultural education in wartime, advancing agricultural academic research, and promoting agricultural knowledge.
