In the context of global climate change and carbon emission reduction, corporate carbon information disclosure has become an important measure to achieve carbon emission reduction worldwide, and it is also an academic hotspot that the academic community pays close attention to. This paper uses CiteSpace 6.2.R4 to conduct an in-depth comparative analysis of the literature in the field of carbon disclosure included in Web of Science and CNKI databases from 2010 to 2023. The results show that the research on carbon information disclosure is on the rise. The highly cited literature shows that foreign research focuses on global trends and international standards, while domestic research is based on Chinese context and practical application. Based on the existing literature and visual analysis results, this paper sorts out the theoretical basis, core issues and research hotspots in the field of carbon information disclosure research, and constructs an integrated framework for carbon information disclosure research, in order to present the existing research results and propose future research directions.
